These are Creality printers' compatible support brackets for EZABL 12mm, EZABL 18mm, and BLTouch autoleveling sensors. These brackets could conceivably be used stand-alone, but they are intended to work with the Z-19 or Z-23 Creality mods.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2911981https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3085235
These brackets were part of the above Things. I have moved them into their own Thing, because otherwise every time I make a change I have to upload the new files to both the Z-19 AND Z-23 projects, and my internet connection is rather slow.
So they are here now, starting with revision 1.9.
Revision 1.9 should fix problems of collisions (of all brackets, as it were) with the X-axis motor assembly; and it should fix the reported BLtouch height problem. (What a terrible idea on their part to not allow adjustment, but put all the responsibility on the bracket designer; specially considering that hot ends and nozzles are not all the same height...)
Many thanks to SaskiFX for contributing a modified version of my original BLtouch bracket; I would never get it right without it.
Well, I don't know that anything is right yet; I shall await feedback. Should be right, tho...
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you do NOT use an autoleveling sensor, you still need to print and install the Bracket_DummyFiller thing, as the foot of the Z-19/23 is raised on the left side by 2 mm; so that space has to be filled somehow or you'll break it.
UPDATE Sept. 14, 2018: revision 1.91 uploaded. Trims the inside edge, "right edge" of the brackets so they don't hit the hot end's standoffs. Also, increased the subdivision, as they looked too polygonated to my eyes, so the stl files increased in size.
UPDATE Sept. 15, 2018: revision 1.92 uploaded. Hole for wheel screw moved 1/2 mm down and to the right. I still have not test printed the brackets; I will do so next.
UPDATE May 23, 2019: NOT a revision; just adding information. Someone was asking me about the X and Y numbers to enter when using the EZABL, and I had to use Blender to calculate the nozzle to sensor distances. I was going to post them in the Z-19 and Z-23 pages, but then I thought these numbers belong here.
For EZABL 18 mm and 12 mm, the X/Y offsets are the same: X=47 mm, Y=12.6 mm.
For BLTOUCH, X = 43 mm, Y = 8.6 mm.
Keep in mind my models of the sensors, the hot end and the mounting plate are all "just models" based on visual measurements using cheap verniers, and the tolerances are cumulative, so results my vary; but the above dimension should be a starting point.
