This is an alien I designed in Blender for use in science fiction role-playing games.
Senovian star polyps are grown inside Senovian star-worms and periodically deposited en-masse onto planets where carbon-based life is detected. Upon landing, they will work to gather whatever biomass they can find and convert it into a new star-worm. Though rare, star polyp invasions can wreak havoc on human colonies that aren't sufficiently prepared. Even a single polyp is more than a match for anything less than serious military hardware.
I recommend printing the model as is with supports.
