Segóbriga es una antigua ciudad romana cerca de Saelices, en la provincia de Cuenca en España. Posiblemente sea uno de los yacimientos arqueológicos más importantes de la Meseta española. El nombre Segóbriga deriva de dos palabras: “Sego” que significa victoria y “briga” que significa ciudad fortaleza.
Segóbriga is a former Roman city near Saelices, in the province of Cuenca in Spain. It is possibly one of the most important archaeological sites of the Spanish Meseta. The name Segóbriga derives from two words: “Sego” meaning victory and “briga” meaning city fortress.
