My wife asked for a hook to put her bathrobe up. didn't want to see the screws, so I made this guy. Tried it out, works like a charm.
You basically screw the round, peg part to the wall or door (in a stud int he wall, with the proper hardware on a door or else you'll simply rip the hook out) and then slide the hook part on that, and screw from the top to secure the cosmetic part to the peg part.
The hook should slide right on the peg, but if it's too tight (printer tolerances and what not) simply sand the little ridges down a little until it's a snug fit.
Print as is in the STL file, with support. If you print it as is, make certain you don't print too thick, as the side facing out is rounded and thicker layers would make that blocky. I did .15mm and that was ok; I'll do less for my next time.
If you want to use it for something with a lot of weight, try printing right side up with supports (turning the part as it will be when you actually use it) as the way the print will be produced will make the part stronger, and as a bonus, the front might look a little smoother.
If you like it or think it's cool, click like (come on, you know you want to!). Makes and collections and comment very welcomed.
****edit: I made a second version where the part you screw on has a peg sticking out.. you have to hammer that part so the peg sticks in the wall before screwing it in.. that's a sort of anchor, to prevent the hook from rotating once it's all set up.
