Any owner of an early Raspberry-Pi will appreciate how flimsy the SD card holder is. The thin strap across the back of it is easily broken, and snapped off. This design makes a clip that slides onto the Raspberry-Pi and recreates a slot for the SD card.
My design is rather cumbersome compared to the elegant solution devised by gould300 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:610086). However, because it supports the card beyond the edge of the PCB, it maybe more robust for schools and other places where the R-Pi boards could get rather rough treatment. Not having to be glued on also means any broken clip can easily be replaced.
As you might guess I discovered gould300's design after I had printed my own original, however seeing I had already completed my design, I am making it available. Comments Welcome!!
