My daughter is in love with Sesame street characters. So I created this creature by sculpting the main shape from sculpey clay, then I scanned each part (hands were separated) using the Matter and Form scanner. I then imported the parts into blender, did a lot of manipulation by adding hair and attaching the hands and so on. After wards I cleaned up the models to be printable and printed the can using silver PLA and the monster itself using green TPU to make him flexible. Then I welded the parts together using a soldering gun. Here he is. I had printed other characters already which were available on the web created by other artists, but I couldn't find a good Oscar I liked, so I made one. I also sculpted/scanned and printed big bird, but it was my first attempt at this process as I've only had the scanner a week, and am just getting back to sculpture.
