This is an attempt to create a pull-up bar support that doesn't require screws.
it works by pushing against the door frame due to the users weight which wedges the sliders against the frame.
Features:
The serration pattern is meant to act like a "ratchet" so that it will stay tight in place after the user has relieved his weight.
an over all horizontal travel of 8mm for the full 27mm of vertical travel.
The dovetail has two purposes:
to keep the two part from sliding away from each other.
to allow for easy initial mounting by holding the two parts together.

How to use:

I designed it to work with a 1.5 inch/38mm wooden shovel handle.
It should be easy to get a hold of and very strong.

The length of the pole should be the width of the door frame less 70mm. Each set is 35mm between the face where the bar pushes against, and the face that is pushing on the door frame. So 2 sets= 70mm.

Cut the wood pole accurately because the angle needed for the wedging to work doesn't allow too much variance in length.
keep an accuracy of +-3mm in the total length of the bar.

Cut the wood straight so it distributes the load evenly.

Use zip ties to secure in place. Don't loop them the way you would normally use a zip tie, but cut the head off of another and use it on the zip tie you inserted to the slots.
