A popular design for leveling a scope to a picatinny or similar flat-top rail. With the scope loosely mounted in the rings place the jig base flush against the rail directly beneath a flat bottom area of the scope, typically where the turrets are located. Place one of the wedges in the groove such that the top of the wedge is parallel to the top of the rail. Slide the wedge into the jig and against the underside of the scope and press until the bottom of the scope is flush to the top of the wedge. With the wedge held in place, tighten the scope rings as needed to secure the scope. Google is your friend if this does not make sense.
