Scalar - E3D Adjustable height probe support by 3DModularSystems
by Thingiverse
Last crawled date: 4 years, 7 months ago
Purpose
The purpose of this thing is to be able to easily adjust the Z height of an inductive probe.
Usually we struggle to adjust the Zoffset on the LCD screeen.
This part removed the need to use the LCD screen to adjust the Z offset.
Here you only need a screw driver that it!
What you will need:
You will need
2 x 1.8mm diameter nails of about 30mm long
1 x M3X35mm screw
1 x M3 nylstop nut or 2 x M3 nuts.
1 x Inductive probe (12mm diameter max)
How to use:
The M3 thread pitch is 0.5mm, so each turn will move up or down the probe of 0.5mm.
1 turn: 0.5mm
1/2 turn: 0.25mm
1/3 turn: 0.167mm (rounded)
1/4 turn: 0.125mm
1/6 turn : 0.083mm (rounded)
