This is a variation on a classic. The thumb grip works for me but maybe not for everyone.
You can vary the dimensions (if your slicer allows scaling) to get different sizes and thicknesses, the default is 1.0mm thick, I found 0.8mm about right for me. Print a few at different thicknesses and see what works best for you.
I printed mine with PLA but no reason why ABS won't work if you allow for shrinkage...
