Sanzhi UFO House

Constructed in 1978 on the Sanzhi District seaside, what came to be called the Sanzhi Pod City was conceived as a resort for military personnel deployed in East Asia. The futuristic resort was never completed although the deteriorating site later became a cult tourist attraction. The houses were all demolished between 2008 and 2010.



The retro-future Sanzhi UFO House is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people. The structure features a full architectural interior with doors that open and close from the Body level. The UFO House consists of a core entry and stairwell structure, six pod occupancy units, three on the first floor and three on the second, and a roof house with patios that can be configured as a small penthouse occupancy unit. To facilitate building a Pod City, MAT poses are included for ten different house colors. A set of grungy MATs is also provided. A small, simple terrain is included for convenience but the UFO House is designed to be placed on any terrain.
