This disk is designed to be placed behind the stove-top knobs while not in use to prevent accidently activating a burner with catastrophic concequences.
I own a Samsung oven which was inadvertantly turned on (unknowingly) and the burner heated a pyrex bakeing dish (9x13) wich exploded sending shards of heated glass flying off the stove after being heated by said burner. This ruined my new vinyl flooring which had just been installed.
This disk has a slot to allow dropping in behind the knob without the knob being removed, works like a charm, will not allow the burner to be turned on without removal.
