Located eight miles from the Las Vegas Strip, the Sam Boyd Stadium is southern Nevada’s premier outdoor sporting venue. Completed in 1971 at a cost of $3.5 million, the stadium consists of an uncovered horse-shoe shaped single deck bowl. Named after Las Vegas “rags-to-riches” icon, Sam Boyd, the stadium has seating for 36,800 attendants.
