After having some failed prints because I wasn't keeping an eye on the filament, I figured it was time for me to put the spool on a holder. Been very happy with the filament. I know with the printrbot simple, resistance could change the X or Y axis calibration, so I wanted no resistance to the filament coming off the roll. I believe I achieved my goals by using cheap inline skate bearings. Found them on ebay, with a several week wait for shipping, for less than $4 shipping included for 10. The skate bearings I used had an outside diameter of 22mm.
