This cover fits the S-500 power supply. This is a 12V, 40A 500W unit.
It has switch and power socket mounting holes. My Power cord is the standard PC PSU power cord. The DC wires are simply brought out thru holes. There is a hole below the socket that I plan on using for a light pipe for the power LED when I find the right one.
There is only a single extra hole needed in the PSU frame on the right side where the lower screw is seen. The left side is held in place by a protrusion that slides in under the PCB and behind the PCB mounting screw so no screws are needed on that side. It is a very solid mount. The edges overlap the frame to make a smooth transition.
The switch hole should be easy to modify for a different snap in switch. The pieces in the center are for bridging support. Cut them out when cleaning it up. The mounting holes for the socket and right side are sized for 3mm plain or thread forming plastic screws (preferred) so nuts are not needed.
12V wires are brought out on the right side via the notch. The left side has a hole for my 12V LED wires. You can remove it if you don't need it.
The rough finish was due to Slic3r. Version 1.2.9 will do a better job, but I updated mine just after the print finished.
I fixed a couple issues on the print and in the file but saw no reason to reprint it. So let me know if you find any more or the fixes I made don't work.
