Designed by Holger Lange in 2007 the cantilever sled is made of a tubular steel frame. Thonet began producing slides and toboggans more than 100 years ago: while the first sleds were still made of bent wood, today it is tubular steel that is typical of Thonet's furniture designs from the 1920s and 30s.
