This car is a British built Rover 45. It is the Mk1 with a hatchback body. This combination was built from 1999 to 2004. }{ -------------------- }{ Information }{ -------------------- }{ The Rover 45 is a face-lifted version of the MK2 Rover 400. It was built from 1999 to 2005 (receiving a face-lift in 2004) at the old Austin motor company factory at Longbridge,Birmingham,UK by the MG Rover Company. It had a choice of 1.4 , 1.6 ,& 1.8 litre 4 cylinder Rover K series petrol engines, a 2.0 litre Rover KV6 V6 petrol engine or a 2.0 litre Rover L series 4 cylinder Diesel engine. The V6 was not avaliable on the Hatchback model, The 45 differed from the old 400 in looks with a revised nose that was taken from the 'top of the range' Rover 75 luxury saloon, and slightly revised details around the rest of the bodywork. It also had upgraded suspension from the old 400, and an upgraded interior more in keeping with the Rover 75. The 45 was available with with either manual, or 'Continuously variable transmission' automatic, which MGRover called the 'Stepspeed'. }{ --------------------------------------------------------- }{ I did not make the base car, this was made by '.ıllı.AL.ıllı.' and credit for it goes to them. I revised the model to add more detail and also made the Rover style alloy wheels from scratch. I'd also like to thank BoNeZ who's 3d model of the Rover logo helped me create the Rover badges. Despite this model being a hatchback, the length of the rear overhang still makes it look like a saloon, which is one of the reasons i like the Rover 45 (and the accompanying MG ZS & Honda Civic), as it has the look of a saloon, with the practicality of a hatchback! Thankyou for viewing and/or downloading this model and please feel free to share your thoughts below! :)
