2 stationary routers are mounted on this articulated bed. X Y movement can be accomplished using a power drill rotating the x or y screw drives. Shown with 1/2'-13 screw drive. Every rotation will move the router bed by 2mm (1/13'). This will allow a very regular movement when using a variable speed drill motor. Build it yourself. You need a 25'x36' solid bed, 1x2 hardwood (20lf), 1x4 hardwood (4lf), a 3ft and 4ft length of 1/2-13 threaded rod, 1/2-13 tape cutter (for wood), (4) double corner support 1-1/2', 1/2' drill bit, 1/4' drill bit, 15'X 12' 1/4' Plexiglass, 1/2'L steel shape (angle) 48' long, grinder/cutter, 4' sturdy triangle steel shelf brackets (2) plus add your own power tools to this assembly (2 power drills, 2 routers). This will cost about $34US for the hardware excluding the tools, holdowns, lumber and wood screws. #DIY #Do_it_yourself #Drill #Fixed_Router #Motor #Paul_Moyer #Router_Bed #Router_Table #Screwdrive
