Used to router the edge of circles. Based on the Porter-Cable 42690 Premium Straight Edge Guide, I have modified it to edge circles on a Kreg router table and fence system. The original unit was designed for a portable router but I needed a system to use a nonbearing bullnose bit to finish an edge on a rough cut circle. I modified the unit to attach to a Kreg router fence. With the adjustable slides, you can gradually feed the edge into the router bit without burning the end grain portions of the circle. Dowels of various lengths can be used depending on wood thickness. Drilling a centre hole part way through the material is all thats needed. For holding the edge down as it feeds through the bit, I used a portion of (stick-on) felt on the under-side of the head unit.
