One possible solution to improve the internal combustion engine is a project of the RAP based on the patent:
ν PATENT RU No 2044893 Cl 6 F01C 3/02, F04C 3/02, the priority of 06/11/92.
In technical terms, as the engine of development provides conversion of the heat of combustion of fuel directly into rotary motion of the output shaft. And as the working bodies of the engine are balanced rotors (tops), it becomes possible by increasing the speed of the rotor or to reduce its size and weight, or without changing the size, reduce weight and increase its power output.
The axes of the rotors are arranged in mutually perpendicular planes and only soprikosayutsya radial surfaces so that their synchronous rotation at the point of tangency are variable working volume (the volume of the side surfaces of the stator are cavities) allowing for a variety of devices, including engines and external combustion and internal .
The main characteristics of the new rotary-piston engine are as follows:
• Only the rotational motion of symmetric and balanced with respect to
their axes of rotation of the working bodies (without counterweights);
• lack of the valve mechanism;
• High permissible rotational speed of working bodies;

• the possibility of widespread use of composite materials, as follows due to the lack of impact loads, usually arising from the reciprocating motion of the working bodies;
• the ability to change the compression ratio of the volume to volume expansion
(not necessarily 1: 1, so that it is possible to make the maximum amount of expansion greater than the maximum compression volume and, consequently, reduce the average temperature of the thermodynamic cycle and reduce the pressure of the exhaust system);
• the possibility of using well-known methods of mathematical modeling;
• four stroke mode;
• High-liter and power densities;
• easy start
