This is a smallish Rotational Moulder/Castor I've developed. As part of Design and Technology my students learn how to draw and develop their own designs. This project has given me the opportunity to open their minds to the possibilities of 3D printing as well as giving me a good platform to teach other plastic manufacturing techniques.
I haven't had an opportunity to cast anything yet. But it does work well. I've attached counter weights to allow it to rotate smoothly.
