This is a chemical reaction separator-set intended to selectively separate two materials via an actuating and detaching rod from one side. The 'Outer.stl'' is fixed while the ''Inner.stl" is the thread-interfaced-surface intended to open and close the aperture with an actuating rod.
It was mainly designed as a method to separate effervescent tablets and water for a co2 water rocket. As the driving rod interfaces with the 'inner', once it rotates, the inner plate's flow holes becomes open and water will flow through the surrounding stators. Thus, water will enter from one chamber to the other chamber to react with the effervescent tablets, generating co2.
It is subject to change as further work is attributed for refinement.
The interfacing rod is (Not included, but it is just a rod with a + shaped cut out at the end. Think of it as an inverse of a Philips screwdriver and a screw) machined out of an aluminum extrusion found at most hardware stores. All the other parts were tested via a FDM printer on PLA.
