This is something I made to keep my desk cleaner and more organized. Too often, I have miss-placed my current glue stick or lost the others that came in the same pack. I also find myself diving for my scraper or brush at the last minute before a print starts, to remove a wild strand of filament or something else that has gone wrong.
This part utilizes the half size extruded aluminum clamp part I used for my LEDs on my towers. I have been looking for a 'utility' tray that would address my needs without requiring more holes or hardware in my Rostock Max V2.
The result is a 3 glue-stick holder (I used the Elmer's disappearing purple sticks to get measurements) with a slot for the SEEMECNC scraper that came with the Rostock Max and one pocket for a sweet (and cheap) brush I found at ACE Hardware.
Use it if you need it, mod if it you want to, just be sure to give credit where credit is due. Props to the guy that CADDed the extruded tub clam I used. Remix included.
NOTE
Two STLs are included.
1 holds JUST the 3 glue sticks, the other is slightly wider and includes a slot for brush and scraper.
EDIT
Added new STL that holds 3 glue sticks (or whatever you want to shove in there) 2 brushes and two scrapers. I use a brass and a nylon brush for the hot end and bed and i realized that depending on what tower you put this thing on, the scraper might not be as easy to get to. This 2x holder is a bit bigger and might be more useful depending on what you want to put in it. I have one on each tower :D great for holding my small trimmers and a small screwdriver. the glue stick hole is also PERFECT for holding my small "tactical" LED flashlight I got at the dollar store. Happy Printing!
