Here is the B9 Environmental Control Robot from Irwin Allen's Lost In Space TV series, made into a fun coin bank, easily printable on your 3D printer.
B9 was designed by Robert Kinoshita, who also helped create Robby the Robot for the 1956 sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet.
Use this as a coin bank or, if you prefer, insert coloured LED lights and invite B9 to your next dance party.
Print without support using transparent filament and glue the two halves together.
2017-04-05 Update: V2+Support has been posted, with with thicker 0.8 mm walls and built-in support structures for higher-quality printing. Print as large as possible for best results. V1 has been removed.
