Replacement buttons for the original RigidBot LCD display supplied with soft rubber keys.
I could no longer put up with the soft, constantly sticking LCD panel keys on our original RigidBot. If you have the same problem, here are some replacement keys I designed. Replacing the keys requires removing the LCD panel and then removing the four screws that hold the LCD electronics into the cover. Lift out the LCD circuit board and exchange the keys. (You need one BigBut and four LitBut keys.)
The RigidBot must be off, and unplugged from the AC line. Use ESD precautions when handling the electronics (just google "simple ESD precautions" if you don't know what ESD is) and be careful to plug the LCD back in correctly before applying power.
Not responsible for any damage or injuries that may occur from someone downloading, attempting to print and install the button keys.
Why no R on the center round key like the original? No way to hold the center key in position so the R would be constantly "rolling" out of position. If you really want an R - it is only a remix away, but don't blame me if you develop an overwhelming need to constantly straighten that R up.
