This is a very simple enclosure for the Sparkfun Si-7021 I2C temperature / humidity sensor.
I was curious about the humidity levels inside a toolbox in my shop so I did what any respectable nerd would do: I set up a Raspberry Pi with a temp / humidity sensor. Now I can monitor and plot graphs of the temp and humidity in my toolbox from anywhere in the world. I also get SMS and Email alerts if either goes out of range. And because this is inside the toolbox it doesn't have to look pretty - it only needs to protect the sensor from getting accidentally whacked by a tool.
This is a super simple design that only took a few minutes and it prints quickly with a larger layer height and not much infill. Remember that it just protects the sensor so it doesn't have to be pretty.
