The original Reprap Morgan tool-head by Quentin Harley was designed for a J-head hot-end. This replacement version is designed for use with an E3D V6 3 or 1.75 mm Bowden hot-end with a standard press-fit connector. The split tool-head design ensures that the hot-end is firmly clamped by its groove mount rather than relying on the original Morgan wire clip fitting which could compromise z-axis calibration following filament changes. An extender button is included in the scad file to allow the E3D's press-fit connector to be depressed for filament changes. The scad also includes options for fitting a bearing retainer ring, a capacitive z-probe, a LED lamp bracket, and a clip to attach an active cooling duct to the PSI B arm that carries the tool-head.
