Remote Assistance by Steampunq

This device was designed for the assistive tech challenge. It is a remote medical alarm that will allow a person to alert those near by to an emergency. It can be placed with double adhesive tape on the out side of an apartment door, given to your next door neighbor or care taker. I have two methods of triggering the alarm. The first method is via the remote clicker for conscious assistance and the other is with micro controller that can monitor vitals like heart rate (similar to the setup found here> http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=71386.0 <).
This is not a new concept but having access to this without having to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars make it feasible for more people. And possibly save someones life. I must say though THIS IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE CERTIFIED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. I don't take any responsibility for the use or failure of this device. My friends room mate with a heart condition passed away because she didn't have access to something like this. So having this could have saved her life.
