I modified Charlie89's ear saver design by editing the mesh to add a means to quickly release the mask from your head. You can do it without touching the mask at all in this way. I also slightly rounded the clips/spots for the elastic material because I use KN95 masks which have wider elastic material. This slightly rounded hole design is less likely to catch on the wider elastic bands (original design had a tendency to catch on the KN95's elastic).
This way you can leave the mask mounted to the ear saver, adjusted to your usual tension, and remove it without having to disconnect the mask from the ear saver. I love the original design because it stays put, but I needed something faster to remove. Originally I was just using webbing with a buckle, but this did not stay put very well and had to be held in place and concealed using a hat.
