The Reising M50 SMG was gun manufacturing company Harrington & Richardson's low-cost, simple response to the Thompson. It was much cheaper to produce ($50 per weapon as opposed to the Thompson's $225). Due to its simplicity it was both easier to produce and lighter than the Thompson. It was developed in 1940, and used by the U.S. Military in World War Two. 100, 000 were shipped in, though it saw little action with the U.S. in the Second World War and many were shipped off to Canada, the Soviets and other Allied forces. Though it was classified as an SMG, it was actually a selective-fire carbine, chambered in .45 ACP. It had a 20 round magazine. The sights and shell ejector are displayed in almost perfect detail. I am happy with the design. Please rate and review. #45 #000 #089 #100 #1940 #20 #225 #3D #3D_Challenge_089 #50 #ACP #Allies #bullet #Canada #Carbine #Challenge #cheaper #classified #cost #death #dollars #easier #ejector #fire #Gun #Harrington #Light #lighter #low #LucifersTeapot #M50 #Machine #magazine #produce #Reising #response #Richardson #rifle #round #Russia #Second #selective #shell #shipped #sights #simple #simplicity #SMG #Soviet #States #Sub #Thompson #Two #US #United #War #weapon #Weight #World #WW2 #WWII
