This is a remix of my original recurve sight design. I started this to use m4 screws for fine adjustment. I ended up deciding to remove the printed scale marks in favor of attaching a printed scale to the sight. I've found this to be more accurate than the original as well. It also should work identically for right or left handed archers.
You will need two m4 screws: an 80mm and a 35mm. You will need a locknut for each. The mount also uses an m4 thumb screw, I think I used a 10mm one but it hardly matters. Of course it also requires two flat head 10-24 screws (I used 1/2" ones) to attach to your riser.
To assemble the arm that holds the sight, insert the sight into the sight holder. Then insert the 35mm M4 screw and screw it through the threads in the sight. There is a hole on the other side that should just fit the locknut. Insert the locknut and screw the screw into it. When the screw hits the plastic parts of the locknut, the nut will start spinning. I used a pair of tweezers to hold it in place so that I could tighten it until the screw was flush with the PLA at the other end. This is the only tricky part of assembly.
Assembly of the vertical arm is similar but not as hard. Insert the assembly you just put together into the slot in the vertical arm. Then screw the 80mm M4 through it. Then tighten the locknut to the point where there is no play but everything rotates freely.
Finally, insert the male dovetail portion of the entire assembly into the female dovetail at the end of the long arm. This should be a tight fit. I've left it friction fit but you could glue it as well.
The rest should be self explanatory.
