The CMMG RipStock's buttstock is essentially a piece of metal. Shooting it prone is not a fun experience for my shoulder. This recoil pad solves the problem for me by giving a softer contact point between the buttstock and my shoulder.*
Instructions:
Print with TPU in the provided orientation.
Clean up and ooze with a flush cutter or nail clippers if needed.
Test-fit on the RipStock and identify the screw you need to remove to fit the recoil pad.
Remove the screw and use it again to fasten the recoil pad to the RipStock.
Use two small zip ties to secure the other end of the recoil pad in the same position as in the referenced image. Cut the ties as flush as possible.
If you've positioned the zip ties correctly, there should be enough room to push the zip tie heads into the oversized holes where they can be tucked away.
You might ask, why zip ties and not screws? The holes are tapped in imperial size. I wasn't able to find imperial-sized screws near me, so I went for zip ties. They've been working just fine.
Remember to print with TPU. I can vouch for NinjaFlex.
* If you're a fundamentals purist, a recoil pad might result in imprecise shoulder pocket contact, and thus such recoil pad might not be be for you.
