This is a higher performance plank flying wing. The shape was designed around a 35mm brushless motor that weighs 90 grams with a 25mm bolt pattern. The battery sits in the nose It is a 1600/4s, will work with a 22003s as well. The base needs to be printed with 10% infill.
The wing made from MPF foam (modelplanefoam.com) Has a 35" span and it tapered to 5". The leading edge of the wing is made from wood dowels. It has a full length 6mm carbon spar as well as a 5" center spar near the front. I iron on packing tape for a finish on the wing. It has 2 12gram servos.
The wing is held on with a nylon bolt at the back of the wing I had a 6mm license plate bolt so I tapped the plastic with a 6mm die. It could probably be 3/16", 1/4" or 5 mm if that is what you have handy.
