Broke a rim, so made a spare for the still-good tire. This is THICK plastic and should survive a thrashing. 12mm hex mount for 1:10 models.
Edit: added another size, will keep adding more if I break any more rims. Take note of what measurements you need, load these into blender and use the ruler/protractor tool to see which lines need scaling/moving.
First size is 79x50mm (outer max rim diameter x tire width)
Next size is 64.4x50mm and the nut position is moved way out towards the inside of the rim. (which is really bad for the axle/bearings but really good for stability)
Note! - theres no air escape hole in any of these. If you want a air hole (aka sand collector), just drill one before you fit the tire.
Thanks to diegudio for the original design. Its changed considerably to suit my tire, and to considerably strengthen the design. I've also changed it to only require one central support, with all angles >45 degrees below the structure.
Only requires support for the front center of the rim where the nut screws on, and for the tire guides on the outside, which need peeling away. Use a razor for the latter, carefully.
Blender source file included - you can adjust dimensions to suit whatever tire size you need.
