A small winery addition we have been working on, it took a number of hours of trial and error and a few failed prints to get to the stage where a 1:100 model could successfully be printed.
The original file was created in Archicad and printed on our Replicator 2. Originally tried to print using default 'high' settings on Makerware, the print was very slow, fragile and often would not complete at all. This example was printed with default 'medium' settings (10% infill, 2 shells, Makerbot slicer, 0.27mm layer height) and was much more succesful. Some support was designed into the model for window openings and was easy to cut out.
If any one has been attempting similar prints and has found certain things that work or don't work, feedback would be appreciated.
Regards,
RBA
