This remake contains new electronics for the Led Panel - Panneau à Led (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2626217) created by HelioxLab.
The strip board has been replaced with a PCB board (Eagle files included) that holds a 10K slider to dim the lamps using pulse width modulation. The PWM output is generated by a 555 timer driving a N-Channel MOSFET. The slider varies the mark-space ratio. The PWM frequency is around 1kHz
On the back of the board sits the DC-DC Buck Convertor. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1PCS-DC-DC-LM2596-power-Supply-Buck-Converter-step-down-module-NEW-CA/142147326064?hash=item2118a41070:g:L1kAAOSwvzRXzOBg). I have used many of these in the past and so far have encountered at least 3 variations of board that have different hole spacing. Hopefully if you make this, you get the variant that I designed the PCB for. If not you might have to hot glue it to the back and run wires from it to the board.
I didn't bother with the SEPARATION.stl file and instead hot glued the board in once it was tested. I only had single 18650 3.7V Battery holders and so hot glued 3 of those to the back panel.
Everything fits well. Thankyou HelioxLab for a fantastic design. Beau travail!
