Raspberry Pi Xilinx programmer case
by Thingiverse
Last crawled date: 5 years, 4 months ago
A case for Raspberry Pi used as a Xilinx CPLD/FPGA programmer. Room inside for a couple of 5V regulators (model airplane SBEC) and an extra opening in the rear for a 5mm power plug glued in place.
Use one regulator(SBEC) (or USB) to power the Pi and a separate regulator to power the board being programmed. If you use the same regulator (or USB) the Pi will probably reboot when the CPLD device is connected because of a surge in current.
The slim opening on the side is for routing the programming wires out.
