Just a little more room please.
This is based on the RPI House by OxyJin. I liked this version because it is very easy to assemble and disassemble while there are other peripherals connected to the Raspberry Pi.
It is difficult to find a ready made case out there with just bit more head room for Raspberry Pi expansions. I have yet to see one for a serial connection.
This final product in the pictures is a device server to capture serial prints and store them as individual PDF files. It will also convert the serial to Ethernet for network printing. An RTC (Real Time Clock) can be added because of the extra room.
I added a section of the drawing to acommodate for the AB Elelctronics RS232 and 1 wire peripheral. I ordered this just before they released a new version with just the RS232 connector.
The next may include this new version with an Real Time Clock addon. They stack up and I will need to increase the height.
Update: New pictures were added to include the AB Electronics DB9 (DSUB) RS232 converter. It is also a higher case to add the RTC clocks they provide to stack above the RS232 board. I will add the MOSHI Soft drawing and PDF soon for the new case.
