Adapter for Raspberry Pi Camera Module with M43 Mount
CAUTION:
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
This may harm/destroy your Raspberry Pi camera module.
What you need?
Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2 (v1 should be okay but I didn't try.)
Lens or Telescope uses Micro Four Thirds mount. Camera Module Lens is attached as a screw. Turn the lens module counter clockwise then you can remove the lens.
How to use it
3D Print this thing and do this.
Please refer to pics in "How I Designed This" section, too.
1. Detach Lens from Raspi Camera.
Camera Module Lens is attached as a screw. Detach the lens module by rounding lens counter clockwise. Afterword, I recommend to re-attach the lens loosely so that you can remove it easily when finish.
2. Attach the camera
Put your camera module. See Pictures below.
3. Attach M43 Lens.
Depends on the Lens, you can not adjust focus using lens feature such as focus ring.
In this case, Try Zoom in/out. Or modify this thing as you like.
In my case, attached to my Telescope with M43 T-Adapter.
So far so good.
If you have Pibow case, you can use 2nd STL "Raspberry-Pi-Camera-Module-M43-w-Pibow.stl" to attach Raspberry Pi onto this module.
