Random Pattern Stencil

Airbrush Stencils to create a random spray pattern.
Those stencils are supposed to be used for the black basing technique.
The black basing technique is an easy way to get a less monotonous and more interesting surface finish on scale models.
Here is my recommended workflow:
prime the model with black primer
use white paint to highlight individual panels, maintenance hatches, covers etc.
use the stencils to cover the whole model with a random pattern
apply black preshading to the panel lines
add a thin layer of white paint to blend everything together
apply the primary colors, spray several thin layers until you get the desired effect
