This is the wiring to use an Anet display with a Ramps 1.4
I used the Marlin configuration for the full graphics reprapdiscount smart controller.
To get an external SD card reader to work, you need an detect pin. You have to solder a wire to the socket.
I also uploded a cover for the ANET A3 with a holder for the SD card reader. You have to remove the nuts of the top two screws.
I used this SD card reader:https://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-SD-Card-Module-Slot-Socket-Reader-For-Arduino-ARM-MCU-Read-And-Write/381374955597?epid=1964934917&hash=item58cbb8004d%3Ag%3AncoAAOxy4YdTV9hO&_sacat=0&_nkw=sd+card+reader+arduino&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.H0.Xsd+card+reader+arduino.TRS0&LH_TitleDesc=0
