Update: There are now to bodies. One for standard size phones, like an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6s, etc. There is also a Plus size body for bigger phones, like the iPhone 6s Plus.
The Standard body accommodates nearly any phone 70mm+/- wide.
The Plus size body accommodates nearly any phone 85mm+/- wide.
This is a 3D Printable version of a Ram Mount Universal Finger Grip Holder. It adjusts to suit nearly any phone size. It is perhaps most suited for a motorcycle phone mount when you want the phone to be really secure. That is what I use it for. Applicable to many other uses as well.
Hardware needed (doesn't have to be exact. Substitute if needed):
(2x) 5/32 diameter machine screws. 1/2" length (or similar)
(1x) 5/32 diameter machine screw. 1" length (or similar)
(5x) 3/16 diameter machine screws. 3/8" length. (or similar)
(3x) 5/32 nuts
(5x) 3/16 nuts
A very small piece of anti-skip material. Like the kind that go under area rugs or kitchen cabinets. This is to be used in the stem for the ball mounts. Helps reduce slipping and turning. Makes for a tight connection.
Printing the body:
The body can be printed in two parts (A and B) without any support. Just glue the two pieces together after printing. There are registration marks included in the models so they line up perfectly.
Making a tight connection:
Cut of small squares of anti-skid material and place them in the stem pieces where the ball mount would touch (see photos). This makes for a tight connection and keep the mount from moving once setup. Another option would be to coat the ball connectors with a rubber like coating.
