Quick Release Filament Holder by dfrechette

This is a low friction filament holder which has been designed with a quick release hub. I wanted to create a filament holder which could sit on a table or mount on a wall, as a result I ended up with a design which traps the spool hubs bearings.
I have included a Solid works file of the hub and latch to help in your designs. I may refine the design in the future as the bearing fits snug but loosens over time.
Hub Assembly:
2 x 624-2r2 Bearings (13mm OD. x 4mm ID. x 5mm width)
2 x 4mm x 30mm Button Head Screw
2 x 4mm nuts
Spooler Stand:
2 x 3mm x 16mm Socket Head Screw
2 x 3mm nuts
2 x 3mm washers
2 x 1/4-20 threaded rod
8 x 1/4-20 nuts
4 x rubber self adhering feet. (Optional)
