I designed a two part Z Rod brace for the smooth rods on any QUBD Up printer. It snaps on to the MDF frame of the printer but can also be screwed into the back and front. Two M3 10mm screws are needed to combine the back and front brace together.
Make sure to lay the front brace flat in your slic3r before printing it. Its an awkward angle so I let the software figure it out.
