This is an experiment to water-cool a qu-bd MBE extruder. It is designed to mount directly on an ord-bot hadron carriage, but could be mounted on almost any printer.
It will need a bowden drive to feed the filament. It uses a GPU heatsink 40mmx40mmx12mm (ebay "Aluminium Water Cooling Heatsink Block Waterblock Liquid Cooler New For CPU GPU" goes for $4.99 inc shipping)
It uses 2x 5mm screws/nuts to hold the cooler flat against the MBE body.
I plan to drill the two bolt holes in the MBE body to countersink screws. (normally these go allow the motor mount screws to pass through.)
Work in progress, etc... This replaces the extruder in http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193433
My goal is to build a heated chamber while keeping the extruder light/efficient.
rev2 - changed the clamp to use a pivot rather than a face
rev3 - enlarged the 5mm screw holes, added orient text
rev4 - still tweaking holes,
rev5 - changed coldbody to better fix MBE body block
