Plugging the paddle into the PTT of a QCX-mini could really ruin your day. This is a simple cover that for both the PTT and CAT jacks to avoid this accident.
I have included the Fusion 360 files so that you can modify this if the distance between your plugs differ slightly or your printer is tuned to under/over flow compared to mine.
If you use cura, you might want to use the "elephant" foot option to reduce the horizontal spread. You might have to trim the tops of the pins at a slight angle to allow them to go in easier. Tighter is better...
I printed top up with no supports.
ALTERNATIVE:
This plug did not fit for Jim Sheldon (W0EB) -- they were too narrow and printing them top up caused the feet to require trimming. So he designed a very nice alternative with longer pins, rounded corners and slightly greater distance between the pins. He recommends printing top DOWN and high resolution for best fit. So if the original plug that I designed does not fit, you might try his, it is very nice!
