This is a punchdown holder or stand for the Legrand On-Q RJ45 keystone jacks, part numbers WP3475(cat5e) and WP3476(cat6). The main advantage of using the holder instead of just setting the keystone on a flat surface is that the holder includes a recessed channel to hold the cable in place during punchdown. This assumes you'll have the cable laying sideways to the connector for punchdown, as shown in the Legrand instructions.
The design was inspired by the Keystone Jack Punchdown Holder by rssalerno. The terminal block orientation of the Legrand On-Q jacks is very different from the Leviton and Cable Matters jacks used by rssalerno, however. This design reuses rssalerno's minkowski approach to form the rounded edge base, but little else.
The main parameter a user may want to tweak is the diameter of the cable being used. The provided STL is configured for my 6.0mm OD CAT6 UTP cable. Cable can be inserted either by pressing it down into the shaped channel or sliding it in from the end.
Top level geometry options are provided for creating the printable base and for previewing an RJ45 jack inserted into the base.
