This thing is a modification of the Prusa I3 Rework 1.5 extruder.
I added a quickly adjustable carriage for the inductive sensor (diameter 12 mm). This way you can fine tune the inductive sensor even when the printer is not connected to the PC with RepetierHost. You don't need to follow the procedure with gcode G92 Z0, G30, M851, M500. Just adjust the wing nut and use auto home in the LCD menu ( better start with a safe setting with inductive sensor below the hot end nozzle and go up gradually screwing the wing nut).
It's a bit hardened with two housing for M3.5x16 wood screws. The layers of the first original one I printed splitted by the housing of the M4 nuts. I'm upgrading my Prusa I3 Rework from 1.0 to 1.5 and I hadn't realized yet that the setting of the inductive sensor depends on the temperature of heatbed. When you tune the inductive sensor with heatbed at 55°C, the nozzle will crash into into the heatbed if you use autohome when the heatbed is colder.
I used a cut of about 90 mm of M3 threaded rod with five nuts and a wing nut to attach the carriage on the extruder. I used a spring from my old Wade extruder (Prusa I3 Rework 1.0) but slightly different spring will fit.
For convenience I join F - Extruder_.STL from thing:858449 Prusa i3 Rework 1.5 (licence GPL). (it's imported in the scad files as basis for the modifications).
Quick description of the scad files:
M_global.scad: a small general library with shortcuts for translations and rotations and tolerance constant used to ease fittings between pieces printed separately.
vis_M3_5_x_16.scad : a library to integrate wood screws size M3.5 x 16 in designs
M3.scad : a library to integrate M3 nuts and threaded rods in designs.
M6.scad : a library to integrate M6 nuts and threaded rods in designs.
interne.scad: the main part of the scad code of the thing. Imports F - Extruder_.STL as basis .
Conception.scad : the file used to display in OpenScad a view useful when designing the whole thing (I write the scad files in Lazarus source file editor ).
Extrudeur.scad: file used to create Extrudeur.stl, the body of the modified extruder.
Chariot.scad: file used to create Chariot.stl, the carriage of the inductive sensor.
