Hello,
this is my new printhead. I modified the Prusa i3 mkIII printhead to a bowden extruder version. The original seemed to me very heavy, because of the big mass of the steppermotor.
So i thought that my modification can reduce troubles with dynamics if the speed of printing is very high. I also increased the mount for the proximity switch to a diameter of 12 millimeters.
Furthermore i've added a mount for the IGUS energy chain.
You need:
E3D V6 short distance full metal hotend
5015 radial fan
40mm axial fan
proximity switch d=12mm or BLTouch sensor
3x IGUS RJMP-01-08 linear bearings
some M3 screws and nuts
Edit/Note:
I've done a BLTouch update with my printer, because the capacitive proximity switch had a huge temperature drift. In "Thing Files" i've added the two parts for the BLTouch version. Now it works perfectly
