Two testfiles that allow you to callibrate Linear Advance for your Prusa i3 MK2 3D-Printer.
For using Linear Advance you will need the so calles "K-Factor", deppending on your Material the needed factor will be between 0 and 100. For PLA good values are between 35 and 50.
The test files will creates a few lines in ascending order. Both files start with a K value of 0 and then a step size of 5 or 10 (depending on the used file). The whole test only works with the the most recent firmware, PLA and is only tested for i3 MK2(S) 3D-Printers.
For me a K-Value of 40 seems to be the best for PLA.
A more detailed Instruction in Linear Advance and the most recent Firmware-Update for the Prusa i3 is available at our website (German only): https://3druck.com/diy/praxisbericht-firmware-update-und-linear-advance-beim-prusa-i3-mk2s-4765396/
For further testing there is also a simple 20mm cube included. A pictures showes the difference between the cube with Linear Advance (green, K=40) and without Linear Advance (red, K=0).
